Soyara’s! A Veg-Non-Veg Restaurant Near the Kadamba Bus Stand in Patto, Panaji.

Soyara’s is the success story of a determined Maharashtrian woman. Having moved to Goa with her husband, this persistent woman was determined to make her mark. Fueled by her passion and expertise in cooking, she embarked on the journey that led to the creation of Soyara’s.

Panaji is a city bustling with professionals, and the Patto area is the hub of government and business offices. Located in this prime spot, Soyara’s has become the go-to place for office workers, businesspeople, and students who crave delicious, homestyle snacks and meals.

Soyara’s started its journey in 2002, offering rolls and biryani. As customers began requesting tea, the menu expanded to include tea, along with snacks like sandwiches and vada pav. This expansion greatly benefited the nearby office crowd, leading to the introduction of lunch options as well.

If someone tastes the flavors at Soyara’s once, it’s no surprise that they’ll be drawn back again and again by the variety of delicious dishes. As a result, the customer base grew day by day. However, the absence of seating, with only standing tables available, became inconvenient for elderly customers, women, and children who wished to enjoy their meals comfortably. To address this, a second branch of Soyara’s was opened two years before the COVID pandemic, at Gera’s Grand in Patto, where customers can sit and savor the wide array of dishes in comfort.

Soyara’s specializes in veg, mutton, and chicken biryani. In addition to this, dishes like chicken sukka, mutton sukka, veg and non-veg cutlet pav, egg masala, batata vada, samosa, vada pav, and sandwiches are all exceptionally flavorful. Prioritizing customers’ health, Soyara’s avoids using food colourings and preservatives in any of their dishes. Even the fried items are fried daily in fresh sunflower oil.

The combination of unbeatable taste and health assurance has led more and more people to opt for their reasonably priced lunch and breakfast parcels. The vegetarian lunch includes chapati, dry vegetable, curry, sheera (a sweet dish), pulao, and raita. The non-veg lunch offers chicken or mutton masala or sukka, biryani, raita, and two chapatis. Mini lunch options include chicken, mutton, or egg masala/sukka with two chapatis. Breakfast options include poha, upma, idli, misal puri, misal pav, and more.

Another unique aspect of Soyara’s is its all-women staff! Keeping in mind her own experience as a woman, Soyara Mohite has provided employment opportunities to many women in need. Each staff member receives the same love and care from Soyara madam as they would from an elder woman at home, and this warmth is extended to every customer who visits.

If you haven’t yet tasted the delectable dishes at Soyara’s, be sure to visit. You can drop by anytime from Monday to Saturday between 9 AM and 5 PM.
