The Vision and Origin
The idea of combining agriculture with adventure to create this eco-farm came from Mrs. Smita Patil, who received unwavering support from her family. Her father-in-law, Mr. Krishna Jagannath Patil, and Mr. Vinayak Jagannath Patil, progressive farmers, transformed this land into a modern agricultural hub nearly 60 years ago, all while preserving its biodiversity. Their efforts are evident today as the farm flourishes with over 125 plant species, anchored by the majestic banyan tree at the entrance.
Inspired by her family’s forward-thinking approach, Mrs. Patil developed the farm not just as a showcase of agricultural techniques but also as a center for nature education and conservation. The farm provides opportunities for local youth to learn modern agricultural methods and secure employment.

Butterfly Garden
